Logistics for Health is incorporated in Haiti since 2009. In 2016 the company established a business cooperation with B-Medical Systems as an exclusive Agent for its products in Haiti. To date, Logistics for Health has supplied 222 B-Medical vaccine refrigeration systems as follows:
- 12 to the American Red Cross (Ouest, Nord Est, Nord and Nord Ouest.
19 to UNICEF for intervention post hurricane Matthew (Nippes, Grande Anse, Sud)
191 to CCEOP phase 1 (across 10 departments of the Country)
For all interventions, pre-installation surveys are conducted at all sites. After performing installations and commissioning of SDDs, we provide maintenance briefings to the personnel in charge of immunization services at each health facility.
Logistics for Health will leverage on its experience with SDD installations to position the company as a valid choice for the implementation of projects supporting the immunization supply chain. Our aim is to adapt and expand solar technology in providing cost-effective energy solutions for off-grid health facilities.
Logistics For Health continues to play an important role as a private sector company supporting the implementation of sustainable public sector programmes by the Haitian Government and its development Partners.
